MTA members benefit from MetLife Dental Insurance and VisionAccess Program, which can help reduce out-of-pocket expenses. Read more about how to access these benefits below.

VisionAccess Program
Though VisionAccess is not Vision Insurance, it is a discount program that helps us save on products and services. Discounts are deducted from the vision specialist’s usual and customary fee and are only available through private practices participating in the MetLife VisionAccess network.
There is no enrollment fee or form to fill out. Just use program code: MET2020. To learn more about VisionAccess, view the page on UMass HR: MetLife Vision Discount (USA & MSP employees).
Tips
- Optical Services at UHS on campus accepts VisionAccess program code MET2020 for frames, but not services like eye exams.
- Download the MetLife App to view your policy, file a claim, find a dentist and vision provider, and more.
